I love to do a photo shoot before Halloween with my kids! There would never be enough time (or energy or patience) to actually photograph them ON Halloween and still get the shots I want :) In addition, the leaves in our yard were absolutely peak and if I didn't take advantage that day I wouldn't have gotten that gorgeous foliage. This year Shayla Moon wanted to be a cool neon witch and Jadyn wore the ghost costume I had made for Shayla when she was 4. I love recycling. And creating 1 original costume per year is quite enough, thank you. I also love doing makeup as you can see here. Both Dale and Shayla were not fond of the witchy eyebrows I put on her but I loved them. We also painted their nails - Shayla had black with green neon stripes and Jadyn wanted alternating black and white. No holds barred for photo shoots! It is extra fun, too, since both my girls love to get into character. Dale took some fun behind the scenes footage as I shot and we got lots of honks and comments from cyclists and cars that went by. Now that Hurricane Sandy came, I am even more thrilled that I took these when I did. Happy Halloween everybody!
Oh, and P.S. If anyone is interested in seeing all 125 shots I took go to my website and click on "client gallery", the password is Halloween.
