Princeton NJ Newborn Photographer - McCoy Newborn

July 23, 2012 | By: Photography By Cari Ellen

Peter's large family welcomed him into the world on July 3rd, hence the inspiration for the flag background.  To make things extra challenging for me and his Mom, this beautiful baby boy was intent on staying awake for his entire newborn shoot!  No curled up cute poses for him, he was clear about that.  His Momma and I were a bit stressed at first, then just gave in and laughed and laughed every time he peed and pooped and refused to close those eyes!  Newborn shoots by nature can sometimes run very long and be well, not easy.  And I want to personally thank Peter and Susie for giving me tons of great experience on this one.  In the end there were still some beautiful shots, thank goodness!  And how often are we blessed enough to capture a 10 day old?  What an honor to photograph this cutie pie and listen to his sweet coos that sound exactly like a kitten's mew!
