DAY 25 - 

Dear Moment, 

Oh how I love you moment - that moment after coming home from school, when Jadyn and I just don’t feel like doing anything, and so we lay on opposite sides of the couch and read our own books. The sunlight is streaming in through the big bay window, warming our legs that are entwined under Poppi’s blanket. It’s so quiet in the house and I take breaks to peek under my book to watch Jadyn, completely immersed in her story as she reaches for a cookie, dips it into whipped cream, and puts it in her mouth all without taking her eyes from her page. My daughter, my beautiful daughter who is growing up so fast that I am giving extra attention to cherish this moment, feeling totally present to her company, and freezing this moment in time so I can remember it always.
